Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg (Kulturbehörde und Hamburg Marketing GmbH)

Kulturbehörde and Hamburg Marketing GmbH are supporting the Reeperbahn Festival since the first edition in 2006.
"The Reeperbahn is Hamburg's most well-known address—worldwide. It signifies entertainment, long nights, new trends, and a lively music and club scene. And because the Reeperbahn Music Festival combines all this in one, we’re using it to make Hamburg even more famous at an international level. The SX/SW Festival in Austin, Texas, is a focal point for young and creative people from around the world. The Reeperbahn Music Festival could serve the same purpose for Germany and Europe. It will be an advertisement for the vibrant metropolis of Hamburg." (Thorsten Kausch, Managing Director of Hamburg Marketing GmbH)
