Tour Presentations

Lord Huron

Ben Schneider formed the band in 2010 as a solo-project. Today he has four musicians by his side.  The name of the group is a reference to the Lake Huron in Michigan. Ben recorded the songs of the first EP by this lake.  You can say that Lord Huron brings the Wild West back to the folk music. Their music is deeply rooted in the Americana and has a lot of the folk choral singing in it. After two EPs Lord Huron published their debut album “Lonesome Dreams” in September 2012.

Urban Cone

Urban Cole have made it. Their first release ever, a demo tape, made it to the radio and the band had the chance to play sold out shows all over Europe and Canada. There must be something special about this band, which makes them so successful. Probably it’s the great mixture of individual preferences that defines their sound. The debut album is coming in March 2013, it is named „Our Youth“ and we are looking forward to the tour that comes along with it.

COLD SPECKS

Canadian singer Al Spx is based in London. She amazes with her intense deep southern Gospel and soulful music. But that’s not everything; the tracks on her debut “I Predict A Graceful Expulsion” sound like Screamin’ Jay Hawkins welcoming us in ‘I put a spell on you!’. We can’t escape the somewhat bewitching power of her voice.

ANDY BURROWS

After quitting Razorlight he was the tour drummer of We Are Scientists and recorded an album with Editors singer Tom Smith. But the multi-instrumentalist left the drum kit in favour of his other talents: he plays the guitar, piano, banjo and harmonica. Of course, he sings, too. British magazine Music Week described his style best: "Take a bit of the Beatles, add MGMT and a dash of Elliott Smith and you've got the sound of Andy Burrows".
