Frau Hedis Tanzkaffee is a ballroom-barge, a submarine in the land of make believe, a sensation of its own. Actually she's a lot of barges, and in fact she's a swimming discotheque. More precisely she is a concert hall where poets read out of their works. And yeah, it's true, when they say, that Hedi's an amusement hall in the historic St. Paulian sense. But to be honest she's also a showcase for the different nightclubs in Hamburg, that use her for hosting their parties. And she's an original artifact of an ancient St. Pauli-culture that is about to get lost. The Reeperbahn Festival concerts will take place at the MS Claudia which will depart at Landungsbrücken and then start its way towards the Kiez.
