The Gruenspan is more than 40 years old and might just be Germany's - or even Europe's - oldest discotheque. The owner and location haven't changed in all those years but we promise you won't last that long if you choose to party at 'Hamburg's Rock Center No. 1'. There are two levels which feature a diverse program of rock, pop, concerts and parties. When it comes to live music, Gruenspan has proudly lent its stage to artists such as Bjork, R.E.M., as well as independent acts.
