Flatstock Europe Poster Convention 8

The Flatstock Europe Poster Convention has become a cherished event in the Reeperbahn Festival repertoire, and so it’ll come as no surprise that we’ve invited Flatstock and its amazing poster artists back for 2012.

Among the forty international Flatstock artists in attendance this year will be big names like Justin Santora from the USA and MERCADORMA from Mexico, as well as local celebrities like Zum Heimathafen from Hamburg.
The Flatstock concert poster convention has been a fixture in North America since 2002; since 2006 it has also been held as part of the Reeperbahn Festival, in cooperation with the American Poster Institute and with the support of Feinkunst Krüger. With Flatstock Europe 8, the convention makes a stop in Hamburg once again, pitching its tents in the heart of the city, on the Spielbudenplatz in St. Pauli. For three whole days, connoisseurs, collectors, and the curious can discover and marvel at the very best concert and band posters around. Featuring vivid colours and truly unique subjects, the artworks are produced in small editions only—and although sought-after collector’s items, they are sold right after their publication at prices everyone can afford.
