Blitzkids mvt.
The visitors of the London nightclub Blitz in the 70s were called Blitzkids (most famous: Boy George). The Electro-Pop project Blitzkids mvt. took the same name and compares itself to the New Romantics Spandau Ballett and Electro artists such as Kraftwerk. These Blitzkids sound quite cool, however. It's hard to read any emotions into singer Nomi's face in their videos. One of the musicians involved in the project is producer Petone, best known for confessing his love of the 80s with the amazing Hip Hop sampler "80s Flashback" a couple of years ago. After three strong singles ("Blinded", "Water", "Cold") it's time for an album which is due to be released this year. And recently after turning Berlin's nightclubs into a sweaty Dance sauna,- coming up with new material shouldn't be a problem!
