Three letters are enough to describe the latest American craze: F U N. The American Dream for bands – i.e. from MySpace sensation to chartbreaker – has become reality for New York’s Indie Poppers Fun. Three years ago, the band released their debut “Aim and ignite“ as a free download. Today, the single “We Are Young“ is everywhere: Advertisements, TV series, it was even featured at the Superbowl! The melodies are extremely catchy. Listening to the new album “Same Nights“ seems like discovering a long lost record by the Gods of Pop Queen: Falsetto, vocal harmonies, bombastic orchestra, and playful melodies. It’s no surprise Fun.'s single "We Are Young" reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This is Pop music as it should be: FUN
