Benyamin Nuss
Classical music at the Reeperbahn Festival? Yes, as long as it's innovative and brave enough to go beyond the normal. "New Directions In Classical Music" is a series by Universal Music looking at works on the fringe of classical music. One of the artists playing (with chairs and everything) is 23-year-old pianist Benyamin Nuss. He will be performing works by Nubuo Uematsu. High-brow concert goers will never have heard the name. Gamers on the other hand will break a sweat: the Japanese artist composed the scores for best selling titles like "Final Fantasy", "Lost Odyssey", and "Blue Dragon". Benyamin Nuss is the best know performer of his works.
