Next Stop: Horizon
The bearded double bass tiptoes around you until it jumps into frisky laughter, dancing, for blissful get-together. Next Stop: Horizon are reminiscent of Edward Sharp and The Magnetic Zeros. Well, they actually don’t have a lot in common, except their beards and the driving force they create with their music. Megaphone, piano, drums or double bass - Next Stop: Horizon don’t stick to just one type of instrument. And that’s good because what Pär Hagström & Jenny Roos create in their studio doesn’t need any boundaries. The use of instruments is as diverse as their list of influences: from books to water and old VWs to theories and kids, everything is included. We can’t help but guess what music they listen to when they cook together in their small apartment in Gothenburg. Rock, Gospel and Folk might be the answer as these are also the ingredients of their very own sound. It can only be a wonderful live show!
