The moon has always been a source of inspiration for people all over the world to deep thoughts, dreams, and loneliness. Sweet Sweet Moon a.k.a. Matthias Frey started with melancholic singer-songwriter melodies but didn't stop there. The Austrian multi-instrumentalist is also influenced heavily by Pop music. But there's always a lot of drama in his songs, probably because of the wonderful violin parts. His beautiful arrangements are wonderful when witnessed live: loop pedals, synthesizers, drum computers and said violin create the illusion of a big orchestra on stage. It is probably the best one-man-sound-collage you have ever seen and heard. Signed by the amazing Siluh, he's already released an EP called "Pompidou". We're looking forward to a whole album of Sweet Sweet Moon, full of deep, dreamy music....
