Shiny Darkly
What do the parents of 22-year-old Kristoffer Bechs say when they listen to the music of Shiny Darkly? This darkness, weltschmerz, this deep melancholy and sadness. It's hard to believe such a young man can feel such a burden. Yet, he has the gift to translate it into intense music. There aren't a lot of artists who made darkness feel as beautiful as Shiny Darkly. You have to think of Ian Curtis, Velvet Underground, Jesus And Mary Chain, The Cure. The list is long and yet cannot describe fully how Shiny Darkly feels like. The band paints amazing pictures using the shiny colours of darkness. In their Danish home they have long outgrown the hype. This band is one of the most exciting bands of this small country in Northern Europe.
