The Helio Sequence
The Helio Sequence have been declared a quality source for Indie-Rock music for years. Not just because of their home Portland which is a bubbling spring for Western Pop and Rock music. No, it is their multifaceted sound: sometimes warm Folk, other times featuring programmed beats. Singer and guitarist Brandon Summers as well as drummer and keyboardist Benjamin Weikel follow one golden rule: it has to be melodic. And that’s what we can expect in September, when their fifth album “Negotiations” will be released on Sub Pop.
