Thomas Azier
Thomas Azier complains on a high level. He writes too many good melodies and doesn't know how to use them all. You can hear that: his Synth-Pop songs are everything but melodious. In countless songs we hear bubbling, beating and beeping in all pitches. The songs are anthem-like and immensely beautiful! The 24-year-old grew up in the Netherlands but recently moved to Berlin. He co-wrote German Hip-Hop star Casper's chartbreaker album last year and will release two EPs and his own debut in 2012. Sounds like he's got a lot on his plate but multi-instrumentalist Azier will surely be able to handle it. Someone who wanders the aesthetic paths of Electro-Pop and sunny-synth-sounds as well as him must have a lot of talent. At his live shows it's either dance or enjoy!
