DI-RECT
A description of the band is totally unnecessary for our Dutch audience. Di-rect already achieved superstar status in the Netherlands. Formed in 1999 when they were still teenagers, the band has released seven albums to date. All top notch Alternative-Rock. It is obvious that we're dealing with exceptionally gifted musicians here. The band nearly split up three years ago when frontman Tim Akkerman decided to leave. But they found a worthy successor in Marcel Veenendaal. The search for the new singer was broadcasted on national TV and had a high viewer rating. Since then, two amazing albums titled "This Is Who We Are" and "Time Will Heal Our Senses" were produced by James Lewis (The Wombats, Noisettes, Arctic Monkeys). Their live shows are incredibly powerful and should get what they deserve - your attention!
