Paper Beat Scissors
The music starts softly: finger-picked guitars, hardly any percussions, just the strings and this incredible voice. Tim Crabtree's harmonies are almost haunting, his lyrics repetitive. After moving to Halifax in Canada's Nova Scotia in 2008, the Brit formed the band Paper Beat Scissors. You can almost hear the cold, deserted landscapes shining through songs. Europeans will recognize something Scandinavian, something beautiful no words can describe. His live shows are intense. You have the feeling of sharing a private, intimate moment with the artist.
