Mutiny On The Bounty
A band from the small country of Luxembourg is currently mixing up the Postrock and Hardcore scene: Mutiny On The Bounty play contemporary, chaotic, catchy, radical, just amazingly cool shit. You could file them somewhere between Minus The Bear and The Blood Brothers - but (inbetween us) a little easier on the brain. It's hardly surprising star producer Matt Bayles enlisted for their current album "Trials". Isis, Mastodon, Russian Circles, These Arms Are Snakes, The Fall Of Troy and Botch - they were all produced by none other than Bayles. And you really have to mention Mutiny On The Bounty in one breath with these bands. With one small difference: Instead of violent shouting Mutiny On The Bounty opt for carefully channelled euphoria. And it works like a charm!
