Stereo Total
Francoise Cactus and Brezel Göring aka Stereo Total have been a permanent institution in Germany for almost 20 years. Founded in 1993 in Berlin, it is the only band so far that has successfully managed to combine Chanson, Punk, Disco and Electro. Their songs are of limited duration between two to three minutes, which tells quite a lot about their musical origins: they have their roots in Punkrock! 1,2,3,4!!! Garage Sound and Pop, political messages interpreted with a wink, strange cover versions, electronic effects and heaps of entertainment, that’s the recipe Stereo Total bank on. After 10 albums, one best-of and countless shows the recipe seems to be working. We are seriously looking forward to album number 11 ‚Cactus VS. Brezel’, which they’ll be showcasing at the Reeperbahn Festival for the very first time.
