Helmut
Helmut – sounds soft, distorted, poppy, classic, noisy. He – or better „it“ – is heard to describe. Like his melodies Helmut isn’t playing by the rules of mainstream popular music. Nobody knows anything about this young man. What is his real name? Where does he come from? All we know is he is a classically trained guitarist. You can hear that: the way the sound travels through the guitar cables and microphones into the amplifiers and sound effect boards where they are looped, amplified, distorted, taken apart and recombined. The result sounds soft, distorted, poppy, classic, noisy – Helmut!
