Travelling is inspiring. You meet new people every day; learn about their stories and dreams; the wonders of each single biography. And you learn about places in which the stories occur. And slowly, with every new encounter, the narrative changes and evolves. Eva & Manu put these stories into music. Eva Louhuvuori from Finland and Manu Laudic from Boston travelled together through Europe for over six months, working at different farms. The whole trip offered a big source of inspiration. Far away from their everyday lives, their thoughts were free - the songs for their debut album basically wrote themselves and will be released this summer. The duo plays a very personal and intimate kind of acoustic Indie-Pop. “Feet In The Water” is reminiscent of Florence & The Machine. It gives you goosebumps and summons up powerful images that will haunt and possess you: Do you remember the time we slept on the beach in Croatia? Interrail ticket in our bags, that cheap wine on the night train, the sunrise in Naxos and the acoustic guitar in that weird pub with the ugly table cloths? These are the memories, Eva & Manu sing about. And it makes us feel as if we were right there with them!
