Olivia Pedroli
Are you up for „a little more“ at a show rather than just seeing someone running through a set of songs? If so, you will love Olivia Pedroli on stage. A little pop music, a little avantgarde, a bit of radio play and subtle nuances of the fragility of strings and piano. The Swiss born artist has a fairly unique gift: musically complex storytelling which she has been doing from a very young age on. She has had a classical education as a violinist which shows on her latest album from 2010 named „The Den“. It was recorded in collaboration with Bjork-Producer Valgeir Sigurdsson who had previously worked with artists like Feist or amazing Coco Rosie. It is pretty safe to call this guy a living legend! Olivias stage appearences at Montreux Jazz Fest or Eurosonic Festival didn’t just get her a window seat on the Neoclassic train but - as you might suspect - this wonderful sounding young lady will make an appearance at the Reeperbahn Festival 2012.
