There aren’t many bands who can pull of such a wild genre mix. There is one that definitely does: The Asteroids Galaxy Tour. The sound? Colourful Soul, Funk, Disco or Indie-Pop with Surf elements. That’s what it takes to create the most colourful good mood you will ever experienced. Live performances? Legendary, playful, sweaty and energetic thanks to the seven-piece band as well as the powerful horn section. The front singer? Way too cute, way too blonde and way too stubborn to change her very own style of singing, squeaking and talking, making her as just another singer. No, Mette Lindberg is adorable (and she looks like a rumpled version of Nancy Sinatra). The Asteroids Galaxy Tour is definitely in the lead at the Pop Olympics. One of the reasons would be their second album "Out Of Frequency", which was released earlier this year. A record full of wonderful ideas. Is it a question of taste? Maybe. Can I be into it even as an Indie nerd? Yes, because fun knows no genre. It all has been done correctly – so, come on everyone, let’s go there!
