Choosing the band name Peace in our Search Engine Optimized world might not be the easiest choice for high rankings. That’s because Peace – the Psychedelic-Rock-four-piece from Birmingham – don’t care for the easy way. Their songs are too intense, too demanding. Dark melodic Indie Techno is how the band describes their sound and that’s probably the closest you can get. Their debut album “Bblood” is impossible to describe, it sounds different, new – it’s really hard to explain… We have no choice but to choose examples: The song “Li’l Echoes” stretches deep into the land of Electronic Psychedelia, where Wu Lyf and Foals are kings. “Follow Baby” on the other hand starts out reminiscent of Vampire Weekend before breaking into a powerful Nirvana-like guitar riff and vocals that would have made Kurt Cobain tremble. But all these examples fall short of really describing the incredible genius that is Peace. This band has a lot of potential, come and enter their fantastic musical wonderland. War is over – if you want it!
