The Computers
Their dark sunglasses and light suits make The Computers look like clones of Roy Orbisons. But these four musicians from Exeter have little in common with the ballads of the long dead US Crooner. On the contrary, their Hardcore-Noise-Rock places them at the other end of the musical spectrum. The only influences The Computers took from the 60s are a cover version of the early Rock’n’Roll classic “Surfin’ Bird” by the Trashmen and the musical attitude: loud and raw like a good punch in the gut. The Computers need two chords and two minutes to say what needs to be said.
