Plankton Waves
The two friends Natalie Pickar and Michel Flammant work together in a house in the midst of a forest on their band project Plankton Waves. It seems to be gloomy and eerie in this Luxembourgish thicket when the setting and the sound melt together. The result are breathtaking electronic songs that sit somewhere between Dark Wave and melodic Dance-Pop. Many layers amount from the pumping bass, dangerous sounding vocals, tribal drums and analogue synths. Plankton Wave's recent single "Cloud Carawan" is a perfect example. Maybe this is the perfect soundtrack for magic conventions of witches and sorcerers. What we do know is that the new album will be released in November.
