Listening to Shim's first single "Riverbound" makes us assume she grew up in North America. Her slide guitar makes it sound like American Country-Rock that could have been released on Conor Oberst' label Saddle-Creek. But Shim comes from Israel, where the trendy scene in Tel Aviv is familiar with American music. Her talent, however, was shaped in Liverpool at Sir Paul McCartney'S LIPA where she studied for two years. Meanwhile she returned to Israel where she is currently working together with her band on the debut album. "Riverbound" set the bar pretty high and makes us very excited.
