Love A
Love A play with dilettantism. - You have to when you describe yourself as “snotty Punk-Rock meets warm-hearted Indie-Rock”. The bass is beardy; the vocals are stubbly – pleasantly unshaved! The Punk formula is so easy that it works: their songs rotate in your head and never leave! And this pleasant German grumbling is as essential as the salt in our soups. Love A also play the Punk attitude well when it comes to their releases: everything is customised with a DIY attitude. For example every copy of their single “Valentinstag” is unique: collected stamps and a handwritten love letter turn every purchase into a personal experience. Then again, the music deserves the label Indie-Rock, because Love A aren’t just another copy of our good old Punk veterans. They are here and now. That’s what they are.
