Correatown
Correatown is no part of L.A. with lots of Kimchi restaurants; it's the band of Angela Correa. She has been making music for many years now, but it's the first time she's embarked on a solo project. Sunny Dream Pop or Electro-Folk are two genres that come to mind when listening to Correatown. The rhythms are floating softly by in her summery song "Further", other times the piano plays dreamily along ("All the World (I Tell Myself)"). Beautiful images in your head and a wonderful feeling in your belly - it's really no surprise to hear Correatown's music playing a major role on the soundtrack of American TV series. Her latest album "Pleiades" was released in August 2012 and we're sure the songs will reach all the big screens and radio waves soon: in Los Angeles, in Seoul, and in Hamburg!
