Last year Audiolith invaded the Reeperbahn Festival with Bratze, Frittenbude, and Captain Capa. This year, they are sending Neonschwarz - the dark glittery pearl of this year’s line-up. Behind this promising name, are some well-known faces: Captain Gips, Johnny Mauser, and Marie Curry. So it comes as no surprise the trio’s music moves somewhere between Pop, Electro and Hip Hop. After last year’s attention winning “On A Journey” and the virally famous “I Love Hamburg-Message”, they are now about to release their first mini album on Audiolith entitled “Unter'm Asphalt der Strand”. But beware: behind the glitter is the dark, the critical, the contrast. It’s not without reason that the first album of Johnny Mauser and Captain Gips was banned.
