Wintersleep
Ten years ago a couple of friends met in a small apartment in Halifax, Canada. We don't know exactly what they did, but they founded Wintersleep and set big things in motion: a Juno Award (=Canadian Grammy), big tours through Europe and the US as well as an appearance at Late-Night-Talk legend David Letterman. Wintersleep are going for gold! Their songs oscillate between modern Folk and Alternative Rock. It's as if Band Of Horses were playing with the instruments of MGMT using slightly too much distortion. It sounds wonderfully haunting and won't leave your head for a long time!
