Nicolas Sturm
Nicolas Sturm is the guy who lives next door, the guy who plays guitar in the evenings on his balcony and immediately captures everybody’s heart. Nicolas is the guy who can easily mix German and English without sounding artificial. He recently won Udo Lindenberg’s Panikpreis and it doesn’t surprise us. Why? “ He sings and chooses his lyrics in a very unique way and with a lot of passion, his voice is very distinctive. And his authenticity reminds me of the young Bob Dylan”, says Rita Fluegge Timm from Warner Music. The use of the German language in music can often sound a bit dusty. But there is no danger with Nicolas Sturm, he knows how to make it flow. Especially as the lyrics are of a poetic nature. So much feeling. So much passion. So authentic. His debut album will be released on the 17th of August and afterwards he will play at the Reeperbahn Festival. “Here ends the word, Here starts the passion” (translated lyrics). H-E-L-L-O goosebumps!
