Immanu El
If one band manages to make Post-Rock attractive to Pop girlies, then it's Immanu El from Gothenburg. They started out five years ago and since then developed an endless maritime sound. The streaming howl of guitars and organs sends the listener onto a journey across the sea. An approaching storm and huge waves cross our way but we are still surrounded by the tender voices of the Strängberg brothers who give us a warm, familiar security and protection that will manage to guide us back home. The quintet released their second album "En Passage" last year and live its songs create a comforting force.
