Socalled is a jack-of-all-trades and master of many; he is a pianist, producer, composer, rapper, singer, journalist, photographer, director, magician, cartoonist and doll maker. Josh Dolgin alias Socalled is from Quebec and he is a little crazy. His influences are drawn from traditional Yiddish songs but Klezmer is just one of many styles Dolgin uses in his music. They swing well, these Hip Hop beats paired with wild ecstatic Jazz, the powerful piano combined with Rap and a hint of anachronistic Dance force. All together aiming to turn strangers into friends.
