What would Sid Vicious have done if someone had pulled the power plug? He would have kept on going! Punk is loud but Punk needs no cables! If anyone knows this it's Town of Saints. For many years they busked their way through the cities of Europe and there are no power outlets on the street. So the Finnish/Dutch duo invented Acoustic-Punk. You could also call it Folk-Punk because the songs sound like a gipsy party with anarchic slogans: "Out on my own I don't have to make decisions!" On stage, however, Harmen Ridderbos (NL) and Heta Salkolahti (FIN) are never on their own: the audience has to participate. Clapping, singing, dancing - Town of Saints are addicting. Oi!
