B.L.O.T
There are hundreds of Indian movies, Bollywood has become a huge international export of the 1.2 billion inhabitants. But apart from the odd film hit, we don't really get to hear any music from the Asian country. Since rock bands stopped using sitars or following some guru, it has become quiet in India. Or has it? B.L.O.T. are two young musicians and the first Indian band at Reeperbahn Festival ever. B.L.O.T. stands for "Basic Love Of Things" and unites designer and VJ Gaurav Malaker with DJ and producer Avinash Kumar. Their gigs are multimedia performances of sound and images. The duo has already played Berlin Music Week, festivals in Goa, Genua and Lyon and in many, many clubs around the world!
