Spleen United
This autumn will finally see the release of "School of Euphoria", United Spleen's new album. The electronic Pop is melodious but its Disco-darkness is wonderfully heavy and intensely bleak. It takes a lot of persuasion to establish this musical enigma in the mainstream. But here lies the power of United Spleen. They have recently earned a lot of publicity by playing a 24h session entitled "Sunset To Sunset" in which they combined power and stillness with tightly composed melodies and bubbly improvisational skills.
