The Minutes
Blues Rock has to be loud! If it isn’t, it’s only interesting for nerds who care more about the bassist’s thumb work than the actual music. In order to avoid this danger, do us a favour: turn the volume up when you play The Minutes on your stereo! Of course, you could always go and see them live. But be prepared: They make enough noise to make every single bone in your body vibrate! These three Irish rockers are probably the most exciting Hard/Garage/Blues-Rock band at the moment. Their debut album “Marcata” (2011) contains ten songs – each one a hit! When it comes to gigs, nobody can beat Mark Austin, Tom Cosgrave and Shane Kinsella. After all, they aren’t called Dublin’s best live act for nothing: Tight drums, dangerous guitars, and a singer with lots of Soul in his voice – fantastic! Oh, and in case you forgot: it’s going to be loud. Very loud.
