La Femme
This virus is an aggressive one! The infection spread last year, when La Femme was all over the blogs, and it hit us massively. Their Low-Fi-Surf-Rock slash sexy Avant-Pop is super original and super infectious at the same time with an amazing recall value. Not so easy with all those generic bands around. La Femme sound as if they’ve been stolen right out of a french B-movie and are totally reminiscent of the Cramps or early Killing Joke. They are doing well keeping their enigmatic image and not sharing their surnames or their origins. Rumour has it they have relocated to Paris, but who knows for sure? The Reeperbahn Festival 2012 could be the perfect opportunity to get some first hand reliable information from the members of the band. One thing’s for sure: we’re not gonna let them leave back to France without providing some serious facts!
