Zebra and Snake

Before I even dare to start naming all the Finnish cliches, I better look for a new angle. Zebra and Snake are the Finnish duo who generate an ecstatic electronic sound, that wanders straight under your skin. Tapio and Matti are childhood friends and formed the band in 2009. "It was magical, it was as if they had found their power animals. Letting go of their complete emotional and existential frustration they opened themselves to the unexplainable and started the healing process of song. And the more they played the more they were healed", that's how they describe the moment their musical relationship began. Their debut album "Healing Music" was finally released this year and there is nothing else to say but the advice to listen to it. Managed by no other than the Berlin-based Kaiku studio, the band stands in line with bands like Whitest Boy Alive, Kakkmaddafakka, LCMDF and other diamonds from the North who have all been involved with the studio. The music of the power animals Zebra and Snake has an incredibly energetic aura, which is even stronger when they are on stage. It is a stadium filling power.
