Charlie Barnes
Charlie Barnes must be quite the loner. Otherwise he wouldn't call his debut album "Geekk" (2010). The Briton's music can be described as Bedroom recordings. It sounds like the twenty-something stays up until the wee hours of the morning to record tearful melodies on his MacBook. But, oh my god, what melodies! You could almost mistake his voice for a young Matthew Bellamy (Muse) crying bitterly into the microphone. Simply wonderful!
