Mathias Janmaat has got more skills than using his finger tips to expertly play guitar. The frontman of Bombay Show Pig moves jumps from one instrument to the next at their live shows: from foot pumped organ to hi hats, to effect machines. There is always a slight possibility that the duo includes a keyboard every now and then. Together with drummer Linda van Leeuwen, Mathias creates a round sound somewhere between Garage-Rock and Indie hymns, girl-boy vocals and rough melodies. We recommend their debut album "Vultures/Provider", which was released in May, because it sounds like what Indie is supposed to sound like. It is familiar but manages to inherit so much zeitgeist that it surprises with the unexpected. Welcome to the stage, Bombay Show Pig!
