So you really think we, the Reeperbahn Festival, are too stupid to see through simple disguises? Do you really think we wouldn’t notice the name change from Reptile & Retard to Reptile Youth? Were you afraid we wouldn’t book you a second time? Well, there was no need to go through all that trouble. We would have booked you again. Why wouldn’t we? You destroyed everything that wasn’t nailed to the floor at your last Reeperbahn Festival gig. And let’s face it: a band that gets people to party so hard they forget where and who they are will always have a special spot on our festival line-up! Even if your singer undresses himself after the first song and throws himself into the sweaty crowd – honestly, we love it! So, there was no need to release a brilliant single and change your name. We would have said the same thing we’re screaming now: Yes, yes and always yes! We love you, Reptile Youth!
