The Trees And The Wild
This enchanted Post-Rock with titles like "Berlin" and "Irish Girl" could easily be from Northern Europe. Especially the slow songs by The Trees and The Wild paint pictures of ice floes, cold rocks, snowy plains and the deep green of Scandinavian forests. But The Trees And The Wild are from a hot and smoky industrial city just outside the Indonesian capital of Jakarta. Their songs are wonderful and at their gigs they spin dreamy soundscapes taking you to far away places in other worlds.
