Freschard avec les Wave Pictures
Vocalist Clemence Freschard, the band is named after her, has travelled the world. The young French girl grew up on a farm in Burgundy. There she gave performances in her parents' barn at the age of twelve. But the French province soon became too small for the lively girl. With 18 she moved to Paris, where she worked as a waitress to pay her bills. She recorded her first EP and got Herman Dune to write songs for her. Clemence' next stop was New York City where she met other musicians and produced songs that can be described as poetic Noise-Pop. Her last stop (for now) is Berlin. Here she recorded her album "Shh...", formed a Calypso band called Kreuzberg Museum, she also formed a Folk trio together with guitarist Stanley Brinks and drummer Leo Bear Creek. The trio will introduce us to their pretty Folk-Pop songs at the Reeperbahn Festival.
